FROM LGBTA WIKI

Abrosexual refers to an individual whose sexuality is changing or fluid. One can change between any sexualities, whether it be monosexual, multisexual, allosexual or asexual spectrum, etc. The gender(s) one is attracted to typically change, and the intensity of the attraction or the way one feels attraction may change as well. For example, someone could be gay one day, then be asexual the next, then polysexual the next. For some the changes may be erratic and for others they may be regular. Some abrosexual people may be fluid between all or a large number of sexualities, while others may only be fluid between a few. Because of their inconsistent attraction, some abrosexual people may not feel compelled to seek out a relationship or may prefer a wavership.

While it is possible- and even common- for a person's sexual identity to shift or change in some way throughout their life, an abrosexual person's orientation may change more frequently, such as over the course of hours, days, months, or years. The changes in orientation may also be more drastic, such as going from straight to gay, or going from pansexual to asexual.

Abrosexual is not the same as a changing preference. For example, an omnisexual person could have a changing preference, however they are always capable of being attracted to any genders, regardless of their preference. On the other hand, an abrosexual person could be omnisexual and feel attraction to all genders, however, they could later become a lesbian, at which point they feel no attraction to men whatsoever. Regardless of the fact that they felt attraction to men previously they can no longer feel attraction to men in any way, shape, or form.

Abrosexual may overlap with aceflux, however the difference is that generally for aceflux people, when they feel attraction the gender(s) they're attracted to are always the same- the only thing that changes is how they're attracted to them or how intensely they're attracted to them. For abrosexual people, the gender(s) they are attracted to may change.

Abrosexuality is sometimes considered part of the asexual spectrum as abrosexual people can sometimes be asexual or ace-spec. The romantic counterpart to abrosexual is abromantic.
